RetaCagri combines retatrutide, a peptide that activates three separate gut-hormone receptors at once (GIP, GLP-1, and glucagon), with cagrilintide, an amylin-hormone-mimicking peptide. Vials are typically mixed at a 1:1 weight ratio, though strengths vary widely by seller and aren't standardized.
Mechanism under study
The claimed logic is that adding cagrilintide's amylin-based fullness signal on top of retatrutide's already-powerful triple-hormone action should push weight loss even higher than either peptide alone. Retatrutide by itself produced striking results, with people losing an average of 24.2% of their body weight at 48 weeks in one trial (Jastreboff et al., NEJM 2023), and cagrilintide has its own separate body of trial evidence (cagrilintide review). But this combination reasoning is entirely borrowed from separate research programs — nobody has tested retatrutide and cagrilintide given together.
