CJC-1295 (No DAC) is a lab-made version of a natural hormone signal called GHRH — the message your brain sends to your pituitary gland telling it "release some growth hormone now." Scientists tweaked the natural hormone's chemical structure in four spots so that it breaks down more slowly in the body. It's also known as "Mod GRF 1-29." Importantly, this is a completely different molecule from "CJC-1295 with DAC" even though they share a name — this version does not have the sticky add-on (DAC) that makes the other version last much longer (Jetté et al., Endocrinology 2005).
